Throwback Thursday: Soapbox Soaps

This is by-far one of our favorite projects we have ever worked on. Several years ago, we got connected with the founder of Soapbox Soaps, a high-end soap manufacturer who gives things such as vitamins, soap, or water to people in need. We worked with the Soapbox team to develop a script that asked the question, “why do kids get dirty?” While we worked on the script, we knew exactly who we wanted to use as our actor. He performed far-and-above the already high expectations we already had for him (braving very, very chilly temperatures as we shot outside). The resulting video ended up being nominated for an Ohio Valley Regional Emmy in 2014.

Of course, working with an outgoing, charismatic kid also provided some unique and hilarious outtakes that just begged to be assembled into it’s own video (we secretly think this video is even better than the main video). Have a laugh at the video below and let us know what you think of this week’s Throwback Thursday.
