Drunk Pitch, which started a year ago as an event where people pitch outrageous business concepts to a panel of celebrity judges, has partnered with Serif to turn the event into a full-blown TV Series. The pilot launches to the public on April 30 and you can register to be the first to watch here.
Drunk Pitch originated as a way for entrepreneurs to share their skills at pitching business ideas in a more laid back environment by creating one simple rule: You can’t pitch your business or any project you would invest energy and resources into. The ideas that are presented at Drunk Pitch are incredibly silly but still have a tinge of viability. Think Tinder for pets.
“With the wide appeal of the content, we quickly realized this was way more than just an open mic night for entrepreneurs,” says Drunk Pitch creator Jacqueline Rinehardt. “We opened it up to the entire community.”
Serif Creative has taken on the full project of turning this live event into reality TV. “It’s an honor to partner with Jacq,” says Serif founder and CEO Doug Joseph. “She has tremendous energy and vision for Drunk Pitch and our team has had a blast bringing the pilot to life.”
