Designer

Serif is looking for a bright and talented designer to join our growing creative team in Columbus, OH. In addition to the Full-time position, We are always in need of talented freelance designers, illustrators and animators.

 

Position Overview:

Our new Designer will create visuals in digital and print formats for our clients’ projects as well as for our internal branding efforts. You will regularly participate with others in brainstorms and concept discussions.

This is a multidisciplinary role involving visual conception and development of design elements for client projects, internal initiatives and business development proposals, client projects. Strong applications will exhibit an understanding of digital across website layout design and social asset creation.

 

Experience and Expectations:

We expect you to be thoughtful and imaginative with your work, paired with an eye for detail. We look for people with open personalities, willing to share and learn from others. Further, we think it’s important that you are motivated to push yourself (and us!) in design and have a genuine interest in visual communication.

We expect our new Designer to have a full understanding of design practices on social platforms, and be able to work across many forms of media.

You will collaborate with the creative team and receive guidance from the Creative Director for support.

A solid grasp of Photoshop and Illustrator are required. Experience with Sketch and InDesign is a bonus.
